Who can apply

• Be a South African citizen
• Be currently in Matric, in 2026
• Be willing to complete the Matric Gap Year programme in 2027
• Intend on studying towards a Civil Engineering qualification in 2028 (BSc/ BEng/ BEng Tech/ Diploma)
• Be willing to study at one of these institutions in 2028

  • Cape Peninsula University of Technology
  • University of Pretoria
  • Nelson Mandela University
• Have achieved a minimum result of 60% for Pure Mathematics/ Mathematical Literacy/ Technical Mathematics and Physical Science
