Fields of study

Bursaries will be awarded for studies within the following fields

• ANT: Diploma in Emergency Medical Care
• ECP: Bachelor of Health Sciences in Emergency Medical Care (BHSc EMC)
• Logistics: BCom in Transport and Logistics
• Mining Engineering: Bachelors degree BEng, BSc or BEngTech in Mining Engineering

Who can apply

• Be a South African citizen
• Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old
• Have completed Matric
• Be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification within one of the fields of study listed above
• Be entering your 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of study
• Be studyingor have been accepted to study at a recognised and accredited University in South Africa
• Have achieved a minimum average of 70% in each subject, in the previous year
• Have achieved a minimum overall average of 70%, in the previous year
• Preference will be given to students from the following local municipalities in the Northern Cape
  • Tsantsabane
  • Griekwastad
  • Kgatelopele
  • Gamagara
  • Gasegonyana
  • Joe Morolong

Documents you will need

• ID document (certified copy)
• Parents or guardians ID documents (certified copies)
• Proof of residence
• Latest academic results (certified copy)
• Proof of acceptance or provisional acceptance at University
• Proof of accommodation (in university residence or private accommodation)
• Motivational letter stating why you should be awarded a bursary and how you will contribute to your community
