Who can apply

• Be a South African citizen
• Have completed Matric
• Be studying or registering to study at Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) or Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC)
• Be studying or intend on studying towards an Engineering qualification
• Have achieved a minimum academic average of 60%
• Be from previously disadvantaged groups (Employment Equity candidates)
• Not be receiving NSFAS funding or any other funding

Documents you will need

• ID document (certified copy)
• Most recent academic results
• Proof of registration for the 2026 academic year
• Invoice, statement of account, or proof of study costs

How to apply

1. Check the requirements

   Make sure you meet every requirement listed above. Applications that miss one are usually rejected automatically.

2. Prepare your documents

   Scan clear copies of everything the provider asks for, certified where required.

3. Apply through the official channel

   See the provider's official website for the application form.

   Students who meet the above criteria, may obtain a copy of the application form at the campuses of Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) or Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC).

4. Submit before the closing date

   Usually closes around January. Late applications are almost never accepted.
