Who can apply

• Be a South African citizen
• Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric within the last 12 months
• Be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above
• Meet the university admission requirements for the study programme
• Be studying or intend on studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
• Have achieved the following results in Matric
  • A minimum of 75% for Mathematics
  • A minimum of 75% for Physical Science
  • A minimum overall average of 70%
• Have passed all subjects with a minimum result of 60%, if currently a 2nd or 3rd year student
• Be passionate about Mathematics, Science and Engineering
• Show leadership potential
• Have a strong work ethic
• Be committed to your studies
• Have involvement in school, community or extracurricular activities
• Preference may be given to students in financial need
