Fields of study

• Ricci Schwab Lyons Scholarship: this scholarship will provide funding for Law studies.
• Lundi Gadla Scholarship: this scholarship will provide funding for LLB studies at Nelson Mandela University (NMMU).

Who can apply

Ricci Schwab Lyons Scholarship

• Be studying towards a Law qualification
• Be registered for your 2nd, 3rd or penultimate year of study
• Have maintained a minimum average of 65%, for all years of study completed
• Be willing to participate in vacation work programs offered by the Firm
• Have potential to become an effective attorney at Fasken
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Be self-motivated
• Take an interest in the community or in community issues

Lundi Gadla Scholarship

• Be studying towards an LLB qualification
• Be studying at Nelson Mandela University (NMMU)
• Be registered for your 2nd, 3rd or last year of study
• Be in need of financial support for your studies
• Displays leadership ability
• Be motivated and hard-working
• Have an interest in community issues/ projects

• ID document (certified copy)
• Full academic record/ transcripts, for all years completed
• Curriculum Vitae
• Motivational letter to support your application (read our tips on how to write a motivational letter for your bursary application)

   Make sure you meet every requirement listed above. Applications that miss one are usually rejected automatically.

2. Prepare your documents

   Scan clear copies of everything the provider asks for, certified where required.
